OverviewThe F&E applications of the TOSsoft system are accessed through the F&E main menu (figure 1.1). The F&E module may be used as a stand-alone set of applications or in conjunction with the other modules of the TOSsoft system.
Figure 1.1 The F&E applications were written to address the needs and requirements of normal, every-day, telephone industry professionals working in the networking and engineering departments. All TOSsoft system modules are table-driven. This means that system setup and customization is done without a programmer for standard telephone company operations. The LERG is not provided with this module due to the fact that it is regional by nature and must be purchased separately from an appropriate licensing source.
